Senior Sales Director EMEA Permanent

The Director, Sales will be primarily responsible for the management of relationships with my clients customer portfolio. This position requires deep data center industry experience and a great aptitude in building and maintaining customer relationships. The position requires a highly motivated and results-driven individual who possesses the ability to work independently, and collaboratively, to achieve assigned goals and understand customer requirements and needs to offer suitable solutions and drive growth.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Execute on our clients sales strategy: client visits, new business presentations, planning and brief taking
• Maintain relationships and serve as the point of contact and liaison for our customers
• Generate proposals, RFP responses, technical responses and customer correspondence supporting all aspects of the customer relationship with our client and its revenue generating pursuits
• Provide accurate and timely forecasts to management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to suggest service improvements responsive to client feedback
• Ensure client account information is kept up to date on our systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, a related field, or equivalent experience required
• Related data center sales experience, preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as consultative sales and negotiating skills required
• Proficiency with Salesforce, strongly preferred
• Commitment to supporting an environment of world-class customer focus, transparency, and collaboration
• Working knowledge of national providers along with the broader data center and technical real estate landscape
• Working knowledge and understanding of REITs strongly preferred
• Travel required is expected to be greater than 20% of time
